Manager of Geology

Gill Sykes has over 25 years in the E&P industry focused mainly on the UK, Norwegian and Danish sectors of the North Sea together with West Africa.

Gill trained as a geologist at the University of Sheffield and has had a wide range of experiences from technical contributor through to leadership positions in exploration, development and production environments.

Having spent over 15 years with Amerada Hess, Gill left them in 2003 to progress her career as a technical manager and ultimately Subsurface Manager with Helix RDS.

Gill joined Silverstone in September 2006 as Manager of Geology.
