Richard Strachan has 24 years experience in the UKCS oil and gas industry.

Graduating with degrees in Engineering Technology with an MSc in Project Management, Richard has held various senior management posts within operating and contracting companies.

Prior to joining Silverstone Energy Richard was operations and projects director of Aker Kvaerner Offshore Partner.

Richard’s experience covers the full life cycle of field developments, project management, engineering, construction, operations, maintenance and business development.

Richard is a Chartered Engineer and member of the Institute of Mechanical engineers.
