Mr Strachan has 22 years experience in the UKCS oil and gas industry.

Graduating with degrees in Engineering Technology and Project Management, Mr Strachan has held various senior management posts.

Prior to joining Silverstone Energy Mr Strachan was operations and projects director of Aker Kvaerner Offshore Partner.

Mr Strachan’s experience covers the full life cycle of field developments, project management, engineering, construction, operations, maintenance and business development.

Mr Strachan is a Chartered Engineer and member of the Institute of Mechanical engineers.
